Welcome Back, Gilbert 2nd Graders!

Welcome to EDUPRIZE!
Hello and welcome to EDUPRIZE—an amazing A+ school filled with dedicated staff who have a heart for every child. My name is Robin Yeargain, and I am honored to serve as the Elementary Principal.

This year marks my 34th year in education, including 24 years as a classroom teacher and the past 10 years in school administration. I earned my degree in Bilingual Education from Arizona State University and later completed a Master’s in Elementary Education from Northern Arizona University. I began my teaching career in Scottsdale as a K–6 ESL teacher for 15 years, then joined the EDUPRIZE community where I taught third and fourth grade for nine years.

Following three years as Dean of Students, I am proud to begin my seventh year as Principal.

Building relationships is my passion! Whether it’s supporting students in academics, character development, or personal growth, I love being part of their learning journey. My heart is always with and for the kids.

EDUPRIZE is a school I truly believe in—from our mission and hands-on curriculum, to our exceptional educators, conscientious leaders, and the most supportive families anywhere. I’m grateful to be part of this incredible community and excited for another year of meaningful learning and growth for all.

With gratitude,
Mrs. Robin Yeargain

Welcome Back, EDUPRIZE Eagles!
Welcome to the 2025–2026 school year! My name is Heather Vehon-Manfredi, and I’m thrilled to begin my 23rd year in education—and my 11th year here at EDUPRIZE!

As an Arizona native, I proudly attended Arizona State University for my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education. I later earned a Master’s Degree in Multicultural Education from Northern Arizona University, and most recently, in May 2022, I completed a second Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Western Governors University.

On a personal note, I recently married my partner of 10 years, Michael Manfredi, in February 2025!

My teaching journey began on the Gila River Reservation, where I taught 3rd and 4th grades and coached teachers in math instruction. I later served as an Educational Consultant, supporting schools with professional development and improvement initiatives. I returned to the classroom when my son, Julian, started kindergarten here at EDUPRIZE—and I haven’t looked back!

Over the years, I’ve found joy in both teaching and serving as Assistant Principal/Dean of Students. I believe that behavior skills are just as essential as academic skills—and that both need to be explicitly taught and practiced for students to succeed.

It is an honor to support our incredible teachers, dedicated families, and phenomenal students. I am so excited to partner with you to make this the best school year yet!

Sincerely,

Heather Vehon-Manfredi

Assistant Principal/Dean of Students
