ποΈ Community Involvement at EDUPRIZE
π Making a Difference Together
At EDUPRIZE, we believe that education extends beyond the classroom. Through powerful partnerships, service opportunities, and meaningful outreach, our students grow into compassionate leaders and engaged citizens.

πΉ Feed My Starving Children
At EDUPRIZE, service is an essential part of our mission to develop compassionate, globally minded students. One of our most impactful partnerships is with Feed My Starving Children, a nonprofit that provides meals to children in need around the world.
Each year, students from our National Honor Society (NHS) and National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) come together to volunteer their time and energy for this meaningful cause. During these events, students hand-pack nutritious meals that are then shipped to communities experiencing food insecurity.
This hands-on experience not only teaches students the importance of giving back, but also shows them the power of teamwork, empathy, and action. In our most recent effort, 31 students packed over 36 boxes β providing more than 18,000 meals to those in need. Itβs moments like these that help shape our students into global citizens ready to make a difference.
πΉ Clothing Drives
At EDUPRIZE, we believe in the power of kindness and community β and our Clothing Drives are a shining example of that spirit in action. Hosted during the school year, these drives invite students and families to donate gently used clothing, shoes, and winter gear to support those in need.
This yearβs drive was an incredible success. Thanks to the generosity of our EDUPRIZE families and the hard work of our students, we collected over 4,000 pieces of clothing! π Every single item was sorted, counted, and organized by students, who took great pride in participating from start to finish.
The donations were delivered to City of Hope in Gilbert, a local organization that serves individuals and families facing housing instability and financial hardship. This partnership allowed our students to see the direct impact of their efforts β turning a simple act of giving into a powerful learning experience about empathy, leadership, and social responsibility.
Our hallways were filled not just with bags of clothing, but with the warmth and compassion of a community coming together for a greater cause.
π Bridging Generations: Basketball Team Takes Seniors to the Zoo
At EDUPRIZE, service is more than an eventβitβs a mindset. One of our most meaningful community outreach efforts came from our basketball program, whose student-athletes took time off the court to make a difference in a completely different way.
In a partnership with a local senior care center, our basketball team helped coordinate and accompany a group of elderly residents on a memorable trip to the zoo. Students pushed wheelchairs, shared laughs, and created genuine connections with members of the community who donβt often get to enjoy experiences like this.
This outing was more than a field tripβit was a chance for our students to learn compassion, patience, and the power of kindness across generations. π
At EDUPRIZE, we believe building strong character happens both in and out of the classroomβand this is one example of how our students are doing just that.
π Supporting Families in Transition: Donations to House of Refuge
EDUPRIZE students, families, and staff came together with compassion and purpose to support House of Refuge, a local nonprofit that provides transitional housing and resources for families experiencing homelessness.
Through a school-wide donation drive, our community collected essential food, hygiene products, and household supplies to help stock the pantries and support day-to-day needs for residents. Students of all ages participated by packing items, organizing donations, and learning more about how even small efforts can have a big impact.
This outreach wasnβt just about givingβit was about understanding the value of empathy, service, and community care. π
At EDUPRIZE, weβre proud to support organizations like House of Refuge that uplift families and provide hopeβand weβre even prouder of our students for taking the lead.
