Welcome Back, Gilbert 7th – 12th Graders!

Welcome back, EDUPRIZE Eagles!

Hello Eagle Families,

Welcome to the 2025 – 2026 school year. I am Dr. Jennifer Murphy, the proud Principal of the EDUPRIZE Junior/Senior High School. This is my third year serving as the principal of EDUPRIZE and I cannot wait for all of the learning opportunities and celebrations that will occur this year. Each school year students are afforded the ability to learn in various capacities and grow from their experiences within the academics.

On behalf of the EDUPRIZE Faculty and Staff, we hope our Eagles are enjoying the last few days of summer break and we look forward to seeing our students on Tuesday, July 22, 2025.

Warm Regards,

Dr. Jennifer L.H. Murphy

Greetings Eagles!

I am excited to start my 4th year as Dean of Students and Athletic Director here at EDUPRIZE.   In my 19 years of working in education, I have spent the last 9 at EDUPRIZE. My specialty over the years has been Special Education and this is a nice compliment to the work I do as the Dean of Students.

I have 2 daughters, Dylan and Brooklyn, who both attend EDUPRIZE.  We love to watch movies together, travel, camp and swim in our free time.  We have 2 bunnies, 2 tortoises, as well as a corgi named Mochi.

I look forward to another successful year and I can’t wait to watch EDUPRIZE Athletics continue to expand.  Our focus is on preparing Scholar Athletes to play at the College Level means there has never been a better time to be an Eagle!

Sincerely,

Clint Ambos

Dr. Wendy Horning
Secondary Assistant Principal and Academic Advisor
EDUPRIZE Charter School

I am proud to serve as the Secondary Assistant Principal and Academic Advisor at EDUPRIZE Charter School, a place I truly consider my professional home. With over 15 years of experience in education—and a decade in higher education—I bring a deep understanding of both academic development and student support across multiple learning environments.

Before joining EDUPRIZE, I had the privilege of teaching in public, parochial, and charter schools, each experience shaping my approach to leadership and instruction. I also had the unique opportunity to assist in writing curriculum for the Navajo Nation, a project that remains close to my heart. My academic journey led me to earn a Doctorate in Educational Leadership, with a focus in Curriculum and Instruction, which continues to inform my work every day.

Outside of education, I’ve been a business owner alongside my husband, and together we’ve raised five wonderful children over the course of our 32-year marriage. These life experiences fuel my passion for supporting students and families as they navigate their own educational paths.

At EDUPRIZE, I’m committed to fostering a learning environment where students feel seen, challenged, and empowered. Whether advising students academically or leading within our school community, I strive to make a lasting, positive impact.
