School + Home. A Real Partnership.

EDUPRIZE Online gives families real input over the daily schedule while the school provides clear expectations on grading, learning routines, and early support. Families aren't expected to carry the work alone — they're powerful partners in their student's success.

— 01 —

Clear Grading & Mastery

Grades reflect real learning over time — with retake opportunities so students can truly master the material.

— 02 —

Family as Partners

Caregivers aren't asked to teach — they're invited to be steady learning partners with simple, doable expectations.

— 03 —

Real Support When Needed

The EOI team steps in early if a student starts to drift — no surprises, no waiting until it's a crisis.

Shared Expectations. Shared Wins.

When school and home work together, students get the best of both worlds — flexibility plus structure. These four principles are what make the EDUPRIZE Online partnership actually work in real family life.

— 01 —

Shared Responsibility

Families and school each play distinct, doable roles — no one carries it alone.

— 02 —

Clear Expectations

Both sides know what's expected — academically, technologically, and as partners in routine.

— 03 —

Open Communication

Real, ongoing conversation between EOI staff and families — not just at progress reports.

— 04 —

Real Support

The team steps in early — when small gaps appear, before they become bigger barriers.

How Grades Work

Grades That Reflect Real Learning.

Grades in EOI reflect progress, mastery, and engagement over time — not just one test or assignment. Students get real chances to master the material, with retake opportunities built in.

  • Lessons, assignments, and assessments
Steady completion in each course — the day-to-day work that builds the grade.
  • Demonstrated mastery within each module
Real understanding of the content, not just clicking through.
  • Review and retake when needed
Multiple opportunities to succeed — because real learning isn't always one-and-done.
  • Official EDUPRIZE credit
High school students earn real, transferable credit toward an EDUPRIZE diploma.

Family Partnership

Family as Partners, Not Teachers.

Caregivers are not asked to be the teacher. They're invited to be steady learning partners — supporting routine, organization, and progress while EOI staff handle the academics.

  • Help commit to ~5 hours per day, 25 per week
Support the rhythm — but the time of day is up to your family.
  • Support organization and pacing
Encourage planning, breaks, and balance — not micromanage every lesson.
  • Check progress weekly
A quick weekly look at each course — that's enough to stay on top of it.
  • Create a reliable learning space
A consistent, distraction-reduced spot at home where your student can focus.
  • Communicate openly with EOI
When questions or concerns come up, reach out — don't wait.

Technology & Environment

What You Need to Get Started.

To participate successfully in EOI, families need a basic but reliable setup. Nothing fancy required — just the essentials that help students stay focused and ready to learn each day.

  • A working laptop or desktop computer
Reliable enough to handle video, assignments, and assessments.
  • Reliable internet access
Steady connection for live lessons, support sessions, and online coursework.
  • Headphones (recommended)
Helps with focus and privacy — especially in a busy household.
  • A quiet, consistent learning space
A simple, organized workspace makes a big difference in how confident students feel.

When Support Is Needed

What Happens If a Student Falls Behind.

If a student begins to fall behind, the EOI team steps in early. The goal is to reconnect students with learning before small gaps become bigger barriers — and to do it as partners with the family, not surprises.

  • Outreach from the EOI principal
First step is always understanding what's actually happening — not assumptions.
  • Communication with parents & guardians
Real conversations about obstacles, schedules, and next steps.
  • Support sessions and adjusted plans
Extra teacher time, revised weekly goals, or schedule changes that fit the situation.
  • Clear pacing & concrete next steps
If a student remains inactive, the school must withdraw per state law — but we work hard with families to get there before that point.
