EDUPRIZE Online EVIT dual credit pathways with JTED options
EVIT (East Valley Institute of Technology) provides high school students with hands-on career and technical education in areas such as healthcare, technology, trades, and more. EDUPRIZE Online students can attend EVIT programs on campus while completing their academic coursework online, earning high school credit and industry certifications along the way.
- Students control their academic schedule.
- Travel time is easier to manage around online courses.
- EVIT or JTED hours naturally complement online learning.
For students interested in trades, health care, technology, or specialized programs, combining EDUPRIZE Online with EVIT or JTED can create a powerful career focused pathway.
Dual credit through Arizona community colleges
Students may have opportunities to earn college credits through dual enrollment opportunities and online AP courses helping them get a head start on postsecondary education while still in high school.
- Earn high school and college credit at the same time.
- Experience real college level coursework.
- Get a head start on an associate degree or certification.
- Strengthen college and scholarship applications.
Students must still meet EDUPRIZE graduation requirements and stay on pace in EOI courses. Our team will:
- Help select appropriate dual credit classes.
- Ensure credits transfer to the high school transcript.
- Support a balanced, manageable schedule.
Dual credit is an excellent option for motivated students, and the flexible EOI schedule often makes participation easier.
On campus Learning Labs and community
Even though EOI is fully online, students are still part of the EDUPRIZE community. We plan to offer on campus Learning Labs for students who want an in person option alongside their online coursework.
Learning Labs are:
- Flexible, so students may attend on days that work best for them.
- Supportive, with EDUPRIZE staff who can help with coursework, organization, and questions.
- Structured, providing quiet spaces for focused work, tutoring, or assessment prep.
- Community building, so students can reconnect with peers while keeping an online schedule.
Learning Labs are optional and available to any EOI student in grades 6–12 who benefits from in person support or simply enjoys working in a school environment.
