Extracurriculars in the EDUPRIZE Online whole child experience

EDUPRIZE Online Instruction students may participate in extracurricular activities that are school based or community based. This can include clubs, arts programs, athletics, service projects, youth organizations, and other enrichment experiences that extend learning beyond coursework.

These experiences matter. Extracurriculars help students build confidence, leadership, social skills, and a sense of connection, all of which are essential parts of a well rounded education.

Approved extracurricular activities count as part of the full school experience, and parents complete a short log to document participation so their student’s efforts are recognized and celebrated.

State testing for EDUPRIZE Online students

Like all Arizona public school students, EDUPRIZE Online learners participate in required state testing such as AASA, AzSci, and the ACT. Even though learning happens online, assessment requirements remain the same.

EOI families bring students to a designated site on testing days so exams can be administered in person. EDUPRIZE supports families by providing:

  • Multiple scheduling options when possible
  • Advance notice of testing dates and locations
  • Clear instructions, reminders, and expectations
  • Practice opportunities to help students feel ready

The goal is to help students show what they know with confidence while ensuring the school meets all state accountability requirements.
