Touring a school before enrolling your child is one of the most important steps you can take. A campus visit reveals what brochures and websites cannot: the energy of the hallways, the way teachers speak with students, the feel of a real school day in progress.
If you are planning a charter school tour in Arizona and EDUPRIZE is on your list, this guide will help you know what to expect, what questions to ask, and how to make the most of your visit.
Scheduling Your Charter School Tour
Tours at EDUPRIZE Gilbert and EDUPRIZE Queen Creek are available throughout the school year. The easiest way to schedule is by calling or emailing the enrollment team at the campus you are interested in.
- Gilbert: 480-344-2622 | gilbertenrollment@eduprize.com

Or visit https://www.eduprize.com and use the tour scheduling form.
Plan for about 45 minutes to one hour for your charter school tour in Arizona. You are welcome to bring your child along, especially if they are old enough to share their impressions afterward.
When You Arrive
You will be greeted at the front office by a member of our enrollment team. Plan to arrive 5 to 10 minutes early so you have time to check in and get oriented.
We will start with a brief overview of EDUPRIZE: our 30-year history, our programs, our academic achievements, and what makes our school community special. Then we head out to see the school in action.
What You Will See
A typical EDUPRIZE tour includes:
- A walk through our hallways during active school hours
- A look inside multiple classrooms across different grade levels
- A visit to specialty spaces (library, art, music, gym)
- Time on our playgrounds and outdoor learning spaces
- A look at our Pre-K classrooms, if Pre-K is of interest
You will see students engaged in real learning. You will hear teachers in active instruction. You will get a sense of how our community feels day to day.
Great Questions to Ask
Come prepared with the questions that matter most to your family. Some suggestions:
- How does EDUPRIZE support students who need extra help?
- How does EDUPRIZE challenge students who are ahead?
- What does daily communication look like between teachers and parents?
- How are problems addressed when they come up?
- What does a typical day look like for a student in our grade level?
- What programs and after-school options are available?
- How do you support new families through the transition?
Our team is happy to answer any question, no matter how small.
What to Bring
You do not need to bring anything formal. A notepad is helpful if you want to jot down observations. If you are interested in starting an application, our enrollment team can walk you through the process at the end of your tour.
After Your Tour
We will leave you with information about the application process, current enrollment timelines, and any program-specific details that matter to your family. There is no pressure to commit on the spot. We want families to take their time and make the choice that is right for them.
If you decide EDUPRIZE is the right fit, the enrollment team will be your guide through every step that follows.
Tour Both Campuses if You Can
If you live between our two campuses, consider touring both. Each location has its own unique character. Gilbert is our flagship campus, founded in 1995. Queen Creek is a newer, growing campus serving the San Tan Valley area. Many families find that one campus feels more like home than the other, and the only way to know is to visit both.
