Welcome Back, Queen Creek 7th & 8th Graders!

This will be my tenth year as the principal of EDUPRIZE, and I have never been so excited. I have been in public education for over 21 years. Eight years were as a special education teacher, and this will be my 14th year as a school administrator. We have an amazing thing going on here at EDUPRIZE, and it is due to the amazing teachers, staff, and families that we have. Our focus and goal are to work collaboratively to ensure all students receive the support they need to grow.

Hello, EDUPRIZE Queen Creek families!

My name is Amber Delgado, and I am truly honored and excited to introduce myself as your new Assistant Principal. It is a privilege to join a school community so committed to student growth, and I am grateful for the opportunity to be part of your journey.

I have spent the past 13 years in education, serving in both classroom and school leadership roles. My mission has always been to ensure that every student feels seen, supported, and empowered—not only to succeed in school, but to thrive in life. I believe education is one of the most powerful ways to shape futures and create lasting impact.

My vision for education is grounded in strong relationships, high expectations, and meaningful learning experiences. I want every student to feel a true sense of belonging and to leave our campus knowing they were valued, challenged, and believed in. My goal is to help create a school environment where students grow academically, socially, and emotionally into confident, kind, and resilient individuals.

My educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Education with a minor in English, a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of San Diego, and a Master’s degree in Educational Administration from Northern Arizona University (NAU). I also hold both a K–12 Teaching Certificate and a K–12 Administrative Certificate.

I am passionate about being a visible, approachable leader who builds strong relationships and makes a lasting, positive impact on students, staff, and families.

When I’m not at school, I enjoy spending time with my family, being outdoors in the Arizona sunshine, and keeping up with my energetic puppy.

I am so excited to partner with you all and support our incredible students and staff. I can’t wait for what’s ahead!
